OUR WORK
At Integrated Learning Services, the majority of our learning and development, or L&D, projects involve custom eLearning development. We also design instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) programs and materials, and create tailor-made graphics, illustrations, audio, documents, live action video, animated video, and other specially requested design assets for our clients.

We create three levels of training, ranging from shorter to longer term delivery times and budgets. We have several key areas of focus and have specialized in multiple topics lately.
These are general categories, but keep in mind every project is different. We work with you to design a program which fits your learning objectives, subject matter, time frame, and budget.
TRAINING LEVELS

Foundational learning products are often short-form content with a faster development time.

We might be using tools such as Vyond, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Elucidat, or others, depending upon the project.​​

Video is a great medium for short-form content – direct and engaging.
Whether you need to introduce content, illustrate a process, demonstrate a scenario, feature a leader, or just plain make content more interesting, we can help.

Interactive​

Enhanced learning products add increased engagement and activity in custom eLearning or web based learning projects. There might be scenarios, practice applications, or other kinds of learning interactions to help drive your content home.
We are most likely using Articulate Storyline, or perhaps Elucidat or Articulate Rise with enhancements, depending upon the project.

Many of our projects involve animated videos to demonstrate processes, outline procedures, or illustrate concepts or content for which accurate or suitable photography is not readily available.
​
In addition, short videos are often a great way for learners to experience bite-sized chunks of information that can be repurposed in other ways instead of having to take longer courses with all the content presented at once.
ADVANCED
Multiple Modalities: Blended Learning​

We create blended learning programs with many of our clients.
For example, we created a program including eLearning modules, animated videos, live action videos, in-person trainings, pre-seminar webinars, participant workbooks, and more.

​We work with our clients to develop the strategy to best deliver the material, taking care of the content creators, the facilitators, and the learners.
​
And we make sure it all works in the LMS or browser, or email, or PDF, or wherever the end product needs to land.
ADVANCED
Multiple Modalities: Gamification​

Advanced level learning programs might also add gamification.
We work with clients to create fun interactions with the learner in mind: reaching for goals, measuring progress, achieving wins; all good ways to lock in the learning and have a good time.

An automotive client asked us to create a workshop for their marketing organization to implement the Challenger sales philosophy as it relates to creating marketing collateral.
We designed a class with visual materials including a participant guide, custom icons, handouts, actionable checklists, and specific facilitation instructions for executives to lead the workshop.
We also created a “What is our brand?” video for an international agricultural company. Yep, we do a lot of video.

For example, we built an extensive microbiology program to train global employees in food safety, working with subject matter experts from 6 countries.

Together we created an in-depth look at microbiology, delivered in a way every employee across the company, and across the globe, could understand; and more importantly, take action to keep everyone safe from the potentially lethal results of microbiology in the food industry.

Workplace Safety​

Around the world and right here at home, workplace safety has become a priority for companies large and small.

We have also developed training to help prepare employees no matter where they are - offices, warehouses, stores, terminals, onsite with clients, or on the road - so they have a plan and know what to do if the unthinkable happens.

And, since you can’t always have pictures of the unthinkable, we create illustrations to demonstrate life saving training in your locations, with illustrations covering topics like hostile intruders and active shooters, as well as general workplace safety policies and procedures.

We've also developed live action and animated videos to demonstrate safety training, deliver messaging from the CEO, all in service of keeping people safe.​

FOSTER & ADOPTION
​​Caseworkers, Assessors, Families

We've been developing eLearning and Blended learning presentation materials in partnership with a consortium of university and state government organizations supporting foster care and adoption in Ohio.
​
Our instructional designers and eLearning developers have worked with OUCCAS staff in several departments to develop eLearning for Assessors and Caseworkers and to create Facilitator Guides and Presentations for use in person and virtually in training families preparing to become foster homes.
